Catch issues before release. Keep our high-tech systems sharp – so every radar performs when it counts.
As our Radar Mechanic Tester, you own the verification and quality control testing of our advanced radar systems. You run manual and automated tests – both in-house and out in the field – to catch defects before products reach customers. Working closely with Production, Engineering, and Planning, you ensure everything aligns with our standards. You report directly to the Head of Production, making you a vital link in delivering tech our customers can trust.
What you'll do
In-house and field testing: Perform manual testing and run automated tests on our products. Conduct data analysis and assess system performance during test cycles. Verify compliance with technical standards and officially sign off on product releases.
Issue tracking and collaboration: Record quality alerts and any deviations from expected product behaviour. Coordinate directly with the Production Team to ensure corrective actions and rework happen smoothly. Re-test hardware and software after fixes to ensure all alerts resolve completely.
Regression and automation alignment: Run targeted regression tests to verify that new changes introduce no fresh issues. Identify technical areas that benefit from automation. Escalate these opportunities internally to continuously drive testing efficiency.
Feedback and process optimization: Supply detailed feedback from radar testing processes to internal engineering crews. Focus on long-term goals to improve production quality and testing workflows. Collaborate across teams to build shared reliability, not just checklists.
What you bring
BA (MBO-4) degree in Engineering or a relevant technical background.
Between 1–3 years of experience in a similar high-tech technical environment.
Familiar with Quality Management procedures and standard testing methodologies.
Proven experience identifying errors in complex electronic systems using measuring equipment.
Practical knowledge of working with Linux systems.
Fluency in both English and Dutch.
Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to complex tasks.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to travel 25% of the time for field testing.
N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.
A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.
