A high-growth technology consulting firm serving commercial, federal, and state clients is seeking a Chief Growth Officer. This is a rare executive opportunity to take full ownership of a dedicated growth function at a company with a strong track record of year-over-year revenue growth, now at a critical inflection point in its evolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the company's overall growth strategy, with accountability for revenue performance, funded backlog expansion, pipeline quality, and win rate improvement
  • Lead the full growth organization including Business Development (Federal) and Commercial BD.
  • Institutionalize and scale a disciplined business development and capture infrastructure, including pipeline governance, formal bid/no-bid processes, capture planning, pricing discipline, and forecast accuracy
  • Drive revenue diversification beyond current concentrations, including expansion into adjacent federal agencies, contract vehicles, technologies, and selective commercial markets
  • Leverage and expand the company's strong ServiceNow positioning across targeted federal agencies and OEM partnerships
  • Strengthen Prime contract positioning and competitive win rates in IDIQ, GWAC, and BPA environments
  • Evaluate, upgrade, and hold the BD organization accountable to measurable performance standards
  • Assume growth responsibilities historically held by the CEO, building the trust and credibility to earn increasing strategic authority over time
  • Maintain revenue continuity across active pursuits and recompetes while simultaneously building for scale

Requirements

  • Proven track record of senior-level business development or growth leadership, ideally at or adjacent to a major systems integrator or large consulting firm
  • Demonstrated success managing and winning a substantial pipeline and book of business
  • Strong existing network of relationships across commercial or private-sector industries and technologies that can be leveraged
  • Experience leading and mentoring BD teams, with the presence and communication style to inspire a team and represent the company externally
  • Ability to operate with a founder-oriented leadership team and to build trust progressively while making an early, tangible impact
  • High energy, relationship-driven, and comfortable with a fast-moving, conference-heavy, street-level BD culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree; APMP, Shipley, or formal capture certifications are a plus
  • Experience at a major systems integrator with true growth ownership responsibilities
  • Direct ServiceNow ecosystem experience
  • Background in adjacent technologies or service domains such as Salesforce, SAP, AWS GovCloud, cybersecurity, or data and AI modernization
  • Experience diversifying revenue beyond a single dominant capability or platform
  • Experience scaling a company from the $50M range toward the $100M+ revenue tier
  • Experience in commercial or private-sector market expansion alongside a federal core
  • Familiarity with operating in entrepreneurial or founder-led environments
