About the Role
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Independence, Missouri. This role is focused on helping patients improve mobility, recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, reduce pain, and return to the daily activities that matter most to them.
You will work with a steady patient caseload, supported by a collaborative clinical team of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced PT, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Work Schedule Options
We offer flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following schedules:
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Information
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify mobility, strength, pain, and functional limitations
- Create individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, goals, and clinical findings
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions across a wide patient age range
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed
- Educate patients on home exercises, body mechanics, and safe movement strategies
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries in WebPT
- Work closely with PTs, PTAs, and other care team members to support patient outcomes
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Comfortable working with patients across different ages and activity levels
