Office Manager & Employee Experience Analyst

The Office Manager at Rootstrap is the go-to person for making things happen. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, acting as a key point of contact, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and creating an exceptional workplace experience that enables our people to do their best work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the People and Admin team as needed.
  • Partner with the People Experience team to organize company events, celebrations, and internal initiatives.
  • Process invoices and support office budget management.
  • Maintain budget reports and track office-related expenses.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory (stationery, kitchen, cleaning supplies, etc.).
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transfers.
  • Manage equipment inventory, purchases, and asset tracking.
  • Oversee office operations and facilities, including maintenance, repairs, vendor management, and workplace improvements.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding logistics, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
  • Foster a positive and engaging office environment through employee-focused initiatives and activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for office-related needs, ensuring employees have the resources and support required to work effectively.
  • Gather feedback regarding workplace experience and propose improvements that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with different teams to support cultural initiatives and strengthen the overall employee experience.
  • This is an on-site position, so the person in this role is expected to work from the office.

Required Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in an administrative, office management, or operations role.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Soft Skills

  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to make things happen.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Service-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering a great employee experience.
  • High level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the broader business context.

Experience in IT companies will be considered a strong plus.
