Technical Trainer and Adoption Specialist
Crusoe
Posted about 5 hours ago
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role
Crusoe's IT team is responsible for the systems, tools, and capabilities that keep the company running and scaling. As a Technical Trainer and Adoption Specialist, you will be the person who designs, builds, and maintains the technical training content that helps every Crusoe employee — from day-one new hires, to executives, to experienced operators on the shop floor — get up to speed on our core technology faster and more effectively.
This role is primarily an instructional design and content management role. You'll spend most of your time building curricula, eLearning modules, video content, and training materials — and then managing that library so it stays current as our tools and teams evolve. You'll work closely with our Senior Technical Trainer to develop and manage needed courses and material. And when it counts, you'll step in to deliver training in person.
You'll partner with IT, People Operations, and business unit leaders to understand what employees need to know, identify gaps, and build the content that closes them. If you're a skilled instructional designer who is also a natural teacher, comfortable building systems from scratch, and excited to work at a company on the cutting edge of AI infrastructure — this role was made for you.
What You'll Be Working On
Design and develop training programs, eLearning modules, video content, job aids, and other instructional materials covering Crusoe's core tech stack — including Google Workspace, Slack, and other company-wide platforms.
Own and manage the technical training content library in WorkRamp, ensuring all courses and materials stay current, organized, and accessible as tools and processes evolve.
Work with and support the Senior Technical Trainer to prioritize content, execute training plans, and build needed content.
Assess tribal knowledge and existing recordings for content structure and create curricula and training plans for various teams.
Develop and maintain AI literacy training content in support of Crusoe's internal AI enablement initiatives, helping employees across the company get effective with tools like Claude and Workato.
Use authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, or Camtasia /Snagit to produce polished, professional eLearning and multimedia training content.
Conduct training needs analyses through stakeholder interviews, observation, and data review to identify gaps and prioritize learning programs.
Administer training programs in WorkRamp, including course setup, learner enrollment, completion tracking, and engagement reporting.
Analyze learner feedback and engagement data to measure training effectiveness and continuously improve content quality.
Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions when needed, including onboarding cohorts and company-wide technology rollout trainings.
Occasional travel to Crusoe facilities a few times per year for in-person training events and needs assessments.
What You'll Bring to the Team
A Bachelor's degree in any field plus 4–6 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or a closely related discipline — OR a relevant Master's degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience. We care more about what you've built and delivered than the specific field of your degree.
A portfolio of instructional design work is required. We want to see examples of eLearning, curriculum, video content, or training programs you've created from scratch — this is a hard requirement for consideration.
Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to design and build training curricula from the ground up, not just update or maintain existing materials.
Experience producing video or multimedia training content as part of a broader learning program. Familiarity with Creative Cloud (or similar), video editing, audio editing, image editing, screen captures, etc. is required.
Experience administering or managing content on an LMS platform; WorkRamp experience is a plus, but any platform translates.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accessibly to learners from a wide range of backgrounds — from corporate staff to manufacturing employees — without losing the people who already know the material.
Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment without sacrificing quality.
Genuinely curious about technology and keeps up with the tools, platforms, and AI capabilities that are changing how people work.
Comfortable delivering live training in person and virtually when the role calls for it.
Bonus Points
Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Workato, or similar — or a demonstrated track record of learning new platforms quickly and an excitement for AI.
Background working with both corporate and manufacturing or field workforce audiences.
Experience supporting technology rollouts or change management initiatives from a training and adoption perspective.
