Position Summary

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while delivering exceptional service standards that reflect the JW Marriott brand.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, walls, and floors
• Make beds and replace linens as needed
• Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other room surfaces
• Vacuum guest rooms and remove trash
• Restock guest amenities, towels, linens, and supplies
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
• Transport and restock housekeeping carts
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team environment
• Maintain attendance and scheduling requirements

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset and passion for hospitality
