Location - Onsite at our Burr Ridge production facility

About the role:

The Material Handler is responsible for safely operating stand up forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials within warehouses, production areas, or shipping docks.

Responsibilities:

Operate a stand-up forklift truck in a warehouse environment with pedestrians and other forklift trucks
Keep the order picking lines operational with timely product restocks
Accurately receive and safely put away inbound finished goods and supply deliveries
Track inventory with RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Ensure proper stock rotation and First-In First-Out (FIFO) process
Train on the Burr Ridge receiving process

Experience & Skills we value:

High School diploma, GED, or other relevant work experience
Minimum 1 year prior experience and certification on a forklift
Experience safely operating a stand-up forklift a plus (will train on-site)
The ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs of materials

Nice to have and/or you’ll learn:

Lean Manufacturing experience (5S / Six Sigma)
Experience working with a WMS, ERP, or other inventory management system
OSHA or other formal safety training

Base Pay range for this position:

$23.40 per hour

The final discretionary compensation that will be offered for this role depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Work Authorization Requirement:

This position requires current authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship, including support for F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT), STEM OPT extensions, or other temporary work authorization programs.
