Veterinary Practice Manager

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital is growing! After 60 years of caring for the pets and families of our community, we're thrilled to be opening our second location in August 2026 — and we're building our growing team right now.

We're seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry and prior experience overseeing hospital operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the hospital's ongoing excellence and the well-being of the animals we care for.

You'll help shape the culture of a brand-new hospital from day one, working in a modern facility outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, alongside teammates who are just as excited as you are to build something special. As a sister hospital to our well-loved flagship Rye Harrison location, you'll have the backing of an established team, proven systems, and a trusted name in the community.

What to Expect

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, and occasional Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
• Manage Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
• Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required
• Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital at Rye Brook is the sister location to our original Rye, NY practice, a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital that has been serving the pets and families of Westchester and Fairfield Counties for over 60 years. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, offering advanced medical services alongside boarding and grooming. Opening in August 2026, Rye Brook is the next chapter in our growth, and we're building our team now.
