We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for an International Kindergarten based in Shenzhen. This position is available with an immediate start date or from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.
About the school
Located in the heart of Shenzhen and within easy reach of Shenzhen Bay, Hong Kong, and Macau, this international kindergarten serves children aged 2–6 from a mix of local and expatriate families in Nanshan and Futian’s high-end residential areas.The school follows a play-based, emergent curriculum that is co-constructed by children, families, and educators, drawing on the U.S. Common Core State Standards while integrating the strengths of Chinese early childhood education. Classrooms and shared spaces are designed as an open, “mini town” environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and independent learning, with a strong focus on building good habits, confident personalities, and social skills.
About the role
Together with teaching assistants support the children in their learning‐journey from Monday to Friday. During this time, you will:
- Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students aged 2-6 as assigned by the school, creating an English learning environment
- Lesson planning, daily classroom management and classroom activities organization
- Utilize games, music, books, art, technology and other resources to teach basic skills and foster children development
- Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning care environment, and an appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in education/related field or teaching license or PGCE is required
- At least 2 years of homeroom kindergarten experience in China.
