The Role

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Event Hire Sales Consultant to join our Brisbane team. This isn't just about a one-time sale; it’s about managing a fast-moving pipeline where short-term hires and repeat business drive our success.

You will be responsible for nurturing a solid portfolio of existing event partners, venues, and planners, while using your outstanding acquisition skills to win new accounts. If you love a consultative, relationship-driven approach and get a rush from seeing your designs come to life on the event floor, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Repeat Revenue: Manage and grow a portfolio of repetitive business accounts (arenas, venues, event planners, and corporate clients).
  • Fast-Paced Pipeline Management: Effectively manage high-volume, short-term hire opportunities with quick turnaround times.
  • Creative Consultation: Design, present, and sell tailored Ambius product and plantscape solutions that match client visions and event themes.
  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new event hire opportunities across the Brisbane territory.
  • Budgetary Alignment: Engage with clients to deliver high-impact design solutions within their specific event budgets.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses:

  • Event Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Event Hire Management, hospitality, or a fast-paced environment with repetitive relationship management.
  • Relationship Excellence: A track record of building deep rapport with clients who return to you for every event.
  • Creative Flair: A passion for interior design, styling, and a slightly eccentric, creative character to stand out in the event space.
  • Agility & Organisation: The ability to multitask and manage logistical timelines where plants are constantly "in and out."
  • Sales Drive: Proven track record in cold-calling, territory planning, and strong negotiation skills.
