POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and the expansion of existing accounts. This role develops relationships with commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, presents service and product solutions, prepares quotes and proposals, and closes new business. The Account Executive owns their book of business and works closely with operations and field leadership to ensure customer commitments are delivered.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Conduct site visits, walk-throughs, and customer meetings to understand customer needs and identify solutions.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service agreements that align customer requirements with company offerings.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, with accurate pipeline reporting in the CRM.
- Maintain and grow an existing book of business through proactive account management and recurring service agreements.
- Coordinate with operations, field, and project management teams to ensure smooth job execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current on product lines, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Meet or exceed established revenue, margin, and activity targets.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience in garage doors, preferably commercial
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read site conditions and ask qualifying questions to scope opportunities accurately.
- Proficient with CRM systems and standard sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Self-directed with strong time management and territory planning skills.
- Established relationships with property managers, general contractors, facility managers, or industrial end users in the assigned territory preferred.
