About The Role
The Senior Manager, Fundraising, is responsible for building and executing a fundraising strategy across all Range companies, with Kensington Tours & Ensemble serving as the primary vehicles. The ideal candidate brings diverse development expertise to be the architect behind a full spectrum of philanthropic engagement: integrating giving opportunities into the client experience, developing and delivering a portfolio of distributed in-person and virtual fundraising events, driving corporate partnerships with travel and trade partners, and stewarding major gifts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Journey Integration:
- Own the One + One initiative - activating clients to match Kensington's 1%-of-sales commitment, scaling the program from $175K toward $1M annually
- Partner with Sales & L&D to design and embed fundraising touchpoints across the full client lifecycle, from before the initial inquiry through to post-trip stewardship
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and L&D to develop scripting and training toolkits enabling sales staff (i.e., Destination Experts) to introduce giving naturally and compellingly
- Partner with Technology on booking platform features & integrations into proprietary systems and HubSpot to make giving seamless
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, digital content, and impact storytelling to deepen client engagement and connect clients' travel to the Foundation's work
- Track and optimize conversion and donation metrics by journey stage, channel, and region
Fundraising Events & Commercial Partnership:
- Build and deliver a distributed event strategy, including in-person and virtual, that reflects Kensington's brand to reach HNW clients globally across key markets
- Identify and cultivate high-value donor prospects within the existing client base, supporting the broader Social Impact team on major gift conversations where appropriate
- Manage end-to-end event delivery: venue/platform sourcing, programming, guest experience, budgeting, and post-event donor stewardship. This includes working with Finance, Legal & Foundation teams to ensure donation processing and charitable receipting are seamless
- Support Ensemble's annual fundraising campaign with strategy and engagement programming for travel agency 1 members and travel partners
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to identify, develop, and steward corporate giving relationships with travel and trade partners to co-fund, co-host, and co-promote initiatives aligned with Range Foundation's core pillars
- Develop partnership proposals highlighting impact reporting to showcase the business & reputational value of philanthropy
- Ensure all messaging meets IRS & CRA charitable communication standards and reflects the Foundation's governance and fund flow
Strategy & Reporting:
- Develop an annual fundraising plan including revenue targets, initiative roadmap, budget, and KPIs across fundraising streams with the eventual goal of meeting a 1% of sales target, growing the One + One program from $175K to $1M annually
- Build business cases that connect philanthropic engagement to client retention, NPS, and brand equity
- Monthly reporting to senior leadership on fundraising activities, performance, and donor engagement
What You Bring
- 5 - 8 years of experience in progressive fundraising, philanthropic engagement, and developing corporate partnerships
- A proven track record of successfully exceeding revenue targets, executing fundraising strategies across various streams within a complex organizational environment
- Experience designing in-person and virtual events roadmaps, successfully delivering an engaging audience experience, resulting in post-event giving and stewardship
- Strong cross-functional experience working with various internal stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and L&D Demonstrated ability to build or embed fundraising programs within a commercial or customer-facing environment
- Polished written and verbal communication skills to deliver stakeholder presentations and craft compelling donor/client-facing copy, to translate social impact objectives into commercially compelling proposals
- The following are considered assets:
- Familiarity with IRS and CRA charitable receipting requirements
- Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or a similarly premium consumer brand
- Background in corporate partnerships, cause-related marketing, or CSR within a for-profit environment

We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach, where the expected base compensation range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. Employees have the opportunity to participate in a benefits package, an incentive program, and compensation tied to business and individual performance.
