You Are:
The IT Program Manager SME Associate Director serves as the primary resource responsible for orchestrating seamless transitions during both contract transition-in and transition-out phases of the program, ensuring continuous service delivery with zero degradation. They will collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of transition activities with broader program goals and contractual requirements. They will also be responsible for including managing all aspects of the workstream lifecycle to ensure successful delivery, which may include: managing multiple integrations, business development efforts and any delivery escalations. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in leading delivery and workstreams. Additionally, all candidates will need to demonstrate their knowledge and experience of federal contracting, subcontracting, financials/budgeting/forecasting, building high-performing teams, building client relationships, and excellence in client delivery.
The Work:
- Will develop, implement, and maintain processes specifically designed to support the high volume of deliverables expected within the initial 90-day period.
- Conducts thorough assessment of existing assets, systems, and infrastructure, and maintains detailed documentation of all IT assets, configurations, and dependencies.
- Assemble, manage, and lead all aspects of multiple use cases and workstreams from initiation, transition, and closure
- Actively manage and assist Program Leads with scope, expectations, dependencies, and commitments
- Work with stakeholders to define workstream scope, goals, and deliverables
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Possess proficiency in documentation development, performance metrics, improvement strategies, leadership, and team management
- Experience leading a program
- Experience leading large scale implementations or federal contracting, subcontracting, and financials/budgeting/forecasting
- Experience building high-performing teams, building client relationships, and excellence in client delivery

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
