Overview

Graceview Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be Gold Seal certified, possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Project Manager, you will be the Project lead, responsible for the coordination of all project tasks, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead and act as the main point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Develop and track project delivery plans while coordinating internal teams and third-party resources.
  • Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, dependencies, and critical paths across concurrent projects.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates to assist with tender submissions.
  • Read and interpret project requirements, drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities.
  • Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain project documentation.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare internal and external reports relating to project status, progress, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and lead regular site meetings and foreperson meetings.
  • Address project issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on schedules and deliverables.

Key Attributes

  • Strong understanding of budgeting and reporting processes related to construction projects.
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality control standards within construction practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead meetings and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Required
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the Ontario ICI sector.
    • Gold Seal Certification (or equivalent experience/certification or willingness to obtain).
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred
    • PMP Certification, or currently working toward completion.
    • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or similar platforms.
    • Experience using Office 365, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Project.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $90,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
