ABOUT THE TEAM

The Deployments team manages the coordination and execution of fielding Anduril's hardware and software products worldwide. Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, Deployments oversees forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment and reverse logistics. The team is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril's defense solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Deployment Operations Manager to join the Deployment Operations team supporting the Intelligence Systems Business Line. In this role, you will manage the planning and execution of deploying people and hardware in support of a specific program portfolio, partnering closely with Growth, Engineering, Technical Operations, Mission Operations, and Program Security leads to deliver the right hardware and people, on time, to enable mission success. The work demands strong problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, ruthless prioritization, and an obsession with detail and accountability.

This role is ideal for an operations leader who thrives in high-growth, high-stakes environments. You will have a direct impact on mission success, operational efficiency, and the expansion of Intelligence Systems programs across U.S. and allied customers. You will lead a small, but scaling team of Operations and Logistics Associates, build durable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the right people and assets are in place to support critical missions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and flawlessly execute the Deployment Operations lifecycle for the program portfolio. As a key leader on the Deployment Operations team, you will be asked to own and manage all deployments tied to your portfolio.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Anduril and develop strong working relationships with Growth, Engineering, Technical Operations, Mission Operations, and Program Security leads to ensure the successful execution of all deployments.
  • Be a leader in the Intelligence Systems organization by representing Deployment Operations in program reviews, planning forums, customer engagements, and by setting the operational standard for how programs are fielded and sustained.
  • Communicate effectively to keep internal and external teams informed at all times. Use the necessary tools (Jira, NetSuite, Airtable, Confluence) and channels (Slack, email, meetings) to ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be accomplished and when.
  • Obsess over the details and create structured plans for each and every deployment to ensure that people and hardware are in the right place at the right time. Deploying program hardware requires white glove service where there are no second chances or do-overs.
  • Problem solve and remove obstacles for the team and for internal and external partners. Know how to think critically and engage the right teams across the program and the broader Deployments Team to keep the mission moving.
  • Drive continuous improvement and consistently look for ways to improve Deployment Operations processes, tools, and trackers. There are constantly new challenges and new products, so always look for ways to ease the burden on our internal customers and scale the function as the portfolio grows.
  • Guide and grow a team of Operations & Logistics Associates assigned to the program portfolio through all deployment coordination and requirements. Hire, mentor, and develop individuals on the team, and build the bench needed to scale capacity as programs expand.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing concurrent complex projects, ideally in a hardware, manufacturing, or defense deployment environment.
  • Familiarity supporting or leading classified projects and interfacing with U.S. government customers (IC, DoD, or allied partners).
  • Strong leadership, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance personnel workloads against rigorous deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with confident briefing skills for senior leadership and government customers.
  • Proficiency with operations and collaboration tooling (Jira, NetSuite, Airtable, Confluence, Slack).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% to 40%, including on short notice.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Prior intelligence community, military, or defense operations or logistics experience.
  • 2+ years directly managing operations or logistics personnel.
  • Experience supporting fielded systems through sustainment and lifecycle operations, not just initial deployment.
  • Comfortable defining processes from scratch on emerging or rapidly scaling programs.
