Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Financial Analyst on the SG&A Operations team, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, consistent, and insight-driven planning and reporting across SG&A functions. You will support essential SG&A FP&A tasks, including month-end close, forecast cycles, variance analysis, and standard reporting, while also contributing to ad hoc analysis and process improvement initiatives that make the broader team more effective.

This role sits at the center of how SG&A planning and reporting works at Arc'teryx. You will build strong FP&A fundamentals, develop direct relationships with cost center owners and functional teams, and contribute to a team that is continuously improving the processes, tools, and standards that SG&A depends on.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The SG&A Operations team is the operational core of SG&A FP&A at Arc'teryx. SG&A Operations owns the engine to support SG&A across the company: the processes, templates, reporting rhythms, and continuous improvement roadmap that drive consistent planning and reporting across the company.

The team operates across three lanes: repeatable core work, ad hoc and project support, and Centre of Excellence initiatives that improve how FP&A operates across functions. This is a team that runs the SG&A machine, improves the machine, and develops the people who will lead it next.

### If you were in the Financial Analyst, SG&A Operations role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Month-End Close and Variance Analysis: Supporting month-end close activities for your aligned SG&A functions, preparing variance analysis, and delivering clear commentary that explains what happened and why.
  • Forecast and Budget Support: Contributing to forecast and budget cycles by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, validating data, and ensuring outputs are accurate and on time.
  • Standard Reporting: Owning recurring cost center and OPEX reporting for your functional area, ensuring outputs are consistent, reliable, and easy to understand.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Supporting business cases, spend deep dives, scenario modelling, and Senior Manager requests as they arise, bringing analytical rigor and clear communication to every deliverable.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building direct working relationships with directors, cost center owners, and functional teams, acting as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for planning and reporting needs.
  • Data Integrity and Quality: Performing data validation and QA checks within recurring processes, identifying issues early and resolving them at the source before they affect outputs.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to Centre of Excellence initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in recurring work and helping design better ways of doing things. Leading at least one improvement project per year.
  • Template and Governance Support: Supporting the maintenance and improvement of SG&A planning templates, ensuring consistency across functions and reducing manual rework for the broader team.
