Position Summary
The Director, Digital Partnerships & Custom Content leads a strategic initiative to oversee partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and team for all digital channels (Display, Video, Mobile) while driving the creation, development, and execution of integrated content-led marketing programs for the client. This role combines deep digital channel expertise with content strategy excellence to deliver comprehensive marketing solutions that meet client business objectives and drive measurable ROI.
The Director should be well-versed in all digital channels and able to articulate how each channel integrates with content strategy to bring client strategies to life. Using extensive digital landscape knowledge, content marketing expertise, past campaign performance, and research, the Director will justify investment recommendations and lead innovative consumer engagement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Direct communication with clients for all marketplace intelligence, negotiation and partnership needs and take ultimate accountability for team’s day-to-day responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated content strategy across clients, driving creativity, ideation, and innovation that leads to ownable consumer engagement opportunities across digital channels
- Oversee investment plan development, recommendation, and implementation for digital and content initiatives, incorporating necessary research and strategic rationale for client buy-in
- Maintain, develop and grow relationships with appropriate client level contacts , senior-level media owners, and technology platform contacts
- Collaboration with Strategy, Analytics and Business Lead teams to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPI’s
- Lead and manage project execution, including integrated sponsorships and content creation across, digital and emerging interactive platforms
- Oversee the development of go-to-market strategy, recommendations, and POVs that integrate both digital media and content elements
- Manage all integration and sponsorship production processes and communication, acting as the primary liaison between content partners and clients
- Partner selection recommendation and justification designed to deliver on client KPIs, using sophisticated data and analytics to identify optimal partnerships and content opportunities
- Develop staff through performance management, consistent feedback, and support for professional growth
- Demonstrate category expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape for clients Support and facilitate all new business, revenue, and industry initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent quantitative skills and ability to interpret analyze data to inform go-to-market strategies
- Strong marketplace relationships with senior salespeople at major media companies
- Creative approach to defining deal terms including pricing models and value based on client objectives
- Strong project management skills including organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Strong client service skills; team player with ability to work both independently as a leader and as part of a focused team
- High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members
- Proven track record with client relations and growing existing business
- Solid understanding of marketing/communications process and the role of media partnerships in it
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience related to digital
- 4+ years managing a team
- Experience with B2B clients
- Experience with multiple client and business categories

The salary range for this position is posted below.
