Position Overview
The Manager, Activation is responsible for owning select media partnership relationships and assigned agency relationships, for structuring and framing new broadcast opportunities and managing the Assistant/Specialist to ensure the proper utilization and reconciliation of media buys.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Mediabrands agency buyers and assigned media partners
- Work with VP to ensure clients enrolled in media savings program are leveraging Orion often as their planning aligns
- Onboard new media partners with the agencies and ensure compliance with Orion media buying process
- Manage day to day with Assistant/Specialist for all deals and utilizations from agencies with respect to assigned agency and media partner relationships
- Work with Assistant/Specialist to prepare partnership recaps; present to media partners
- Renew/create new inventory deals with assigned media partners
- Reach out to agencies to determine future opportunities/spending in the pipeline
- Serve as point of contact for Finance for deal approvals by presenting the opportunities to monetize and prepare deal contract template for all partnerships to serve as point of contact with Legal
- Provide guide and support to junior staff; ensure team has received all tools and training to excel in their roles
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong negotiating skills required
- Ties to the media community including agencies and media companies
- Extremely competent in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint a must)
- Strong communication, follow-up, attention to detail and organizations skills required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Proactive, driven and desire to be challenged daily

The salary range for this position is posted below.
