ABOUT THE JOB

The Supplier Quality Project Manager is a hands-on builder and problem-solver within the Supplier Quality team who designs, develops, and deploys new processes and systems across the organization. This role requires someone who can take ambiguous supplier quality challenges—whether in supplier evaluation and control, development/new product introduction, product quality requirements management, manufacturing, or quality assurance—and partner with subject matter experts to architect scalable process solutions from the ground up. You'll own complete work streams from discovery through implementation—conducting stakeholder interviews, mapping current-state workflows, designing future-state processes, and leading the deployment and change management efforts. The Supplier Quality Project Manager collaborates closely with Product Quality Teams and cross-functional partners (like Engineering, Supplier Chain, and Manufacturing) to transform operational needs into documented, repeatable processes that drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Own end-to-end process development for key supplier quality initiatives—from eliciting vague requirements to delivering fully documented, deployed, and adopted processes that are built for scale — across various Anduril facilities
    • Conduct discovery and requirements gathering by interviewing subject matter experts, facilitating workshops, and synthesizing complex information into clear problem statements and solution approaches.
    • Map and analyze current-state processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardization, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.
    • Design and document new business processes, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, RACI matrices, process narratives, and implementation playbooks.
  • Support program managers by managing specific workstreams within larger transformation initiatives, providing regular status updates and proactively identifying risks.
    • Lead cross-functional project teams to define scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage execution from start to finish.
    • Serve as the central point of communication for your projects, facilitating meetings and providing clear status updates and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership.
    • Manage project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep initiatives on track.
  • Lead process deployment and change management efforts, including stakeholder communication, training development and delivery, adoption tracking, and post-implementation refinement.
  • Create scalable process templates and frameworks that can be replicated across different teams, programs, or product lines.
  • Develop process governance frameworks, including success metrics, monitoring approaches, and continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Work with internal and external enterprise solution teams in defining requirements for applications and platforms. Support the business end of development-to deployment. Ensure design input with focus on critical business capabilities with and a high degree of usability, efficiency, automation and integration into the larger system and process landscape.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supplier quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in customer success, Development (Dev)/New Product Introduction (NPI), process design, business process improvement, or program management within the aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement new processes from concept through deployment - across multiple facilities
  • Experience with change management principles and driving process adoption across organizations.
  • Strong facilitation and requirements gathering skills, with the ability to work with ambiguous problems and diverse stakeholders.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in supplier quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of program and project management frameworks (PMI, Agile, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of supplier quality, supply chain, or manufacturing operations including their interdependencies.
  • Proven track record of leading organizational change initiatives and achieving measurable adoption and results.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build compelling cases for process changes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and understanding how processes translate into system requirements and configurations.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations while knowing when to collaborate and escalate.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams.
