The work
As a Technical Writer in this role, you will play a pivotal part in accelerating operational AI adoption by crafting clear, precise documentation that supports a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture. Your work will involve developing and maintaining RMF/ATO documentation, operational runbooks, and comprehensive API guides to facilitate seamless integration and governance of mission applications
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for AI-enabled software platforms, including RMF/ATO documentation, operational runbooks, and API references
- Create and manage knowledge management resources to support mission applications and enterprise AI governance
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams to document platform architecture, integration workflows, and continuous monitoring processes
- Produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation for agentic AI systems, scalable software delivery, and observability solutions
- Support knowledge transfer activities by developing user guides, FAQs, and training materials for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure all documentation aligns with DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) standards and best practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of documentation workflows within a DevSecOps environment
- Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability
- Your contributions will directly support continuous monitoring, scalable software delivery, and the integration of agentic AI systems within a secure, enterprise environment
- Your work will involve developing and maintaining RMF/ATO documentation, operational runbooks, and comprehensive API guides to facilitate seamless integration and governance of mission applications
Here’s what you need:
- Experience in RMF/ATO documentation developing technical content
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate documentation accuracy
Nice to have:
- Exposure to DevSec documentation workflows, knowledge management systems, and software platform documentation tools will be highly beneficial in this position
- Familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community documentation standards, as well as experience supporting cybersecurity, observability, and data engineering initiatives

- US Citizen
- Must have an active TS/SCI federal security clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
