Senior Network Engineer (Wireless / Aruba / ISP Infrastructure) – Remote | EST Hours

About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to support and optimize wireless and network infrastructure in a fast-moving technical environment.
This role is focused on:
- Enterprise wireless networking
- Routing & switching
- ISP/WISP-style infrastructure
- Troubleshooting & performance optimization
You’ll work on real-world deployments, network reliability, and infrastructure improvement — not just basic helpdesk tickets.

What You’ll Own
Wireless Networking (Core Focus)
- Support and deploy enterprise wireless solutions:
- Aruba (preferred)
- Cisco
- Ubiquiti
- Similar platforms
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Access points
- Wireless controllers
- Cloud-managed systems
- Optimize:
- Coverage
- Performance
- Reliability
- Support wireless troubleshooting and RF-related issues
Network Infrastructure & Routing
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Routing
- Switching
- VLANs
- Segmentation
- Work with:
- TCP/IP
- OSPF
- BGP
- Support network stability and uptime across environments
ISP / WISP Infrastructure (Strong Plus)
- Work within ISP/WISP-style environments
- Support:
- Point-to-Point (PTP) links
- Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) wireless systems
- Assist with:
- Network monitoring
- Uptime management
- Connectivity troubleshooting
CLI Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Work with CLI-based configurations across network devices
- Diagnose:
- Connectivity issues
- Packet loss
- Performance bottlenecks
- Outages
- Use monitoring and packet analysis tools to identify root causes

- CLI configurations
- Network troubleshooting
- Infrastructure diagnostics
- Experience working with:
- Aruba (preferred but not required)
- Cisco
- MikroTik
- Ubiquiti
- Similar networking platforms
Nice to Have
- Aruba wireless experience
- ISP / WISP environment exposure
- RF planning or wireless optimization experience
- Networking certifications:
- CCNA
- CCNP
- Aruba certifications
- MikroTik certifications
- Experience with:
- Monitoring systems
- Packet capture tools
- Network uptime optimization
