Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children’s Safeguarding team, based in Wolverhampton.

What will your responsibilities be?
- Carrying out comprehensive, child-focused assessments under Child Protection and Child in Need frameworks.
- Formulating and implementing robust safeguarding plans to ensure children are safe and supported within their families or care settings.
- Initiating and managing care proceedings, including writing high-quality court reports and giving evidence when required.
- Collaborating closely with multi-agency partners (schools, health professionals, police) to deliver holistic, wrapped-around support.

Qualifications and Experience:
We need practitioners who are resilient, empathetic, and sharp when it comes to risk assessment.
- Qualifications: A recognized degree in Social Work (BA, Social Work England registered).
- Experience: Post-qualified experience within a statutory Children’s Safeguarding or Child Protection team.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, excellent courtroom/report writing capabilities, and a knack for building trust with families in crisis.
- Compliance: Full, clean driving license with access to a vehicle for community visits, and an enhanced DBS check.
