What We’re Looking For
Case managers are responsible for handling all administrative aspects of each case on the expert’s behalf and developing steady, trusted relationships with clients. Streamline and coordinate communication between attorneys and medical experts to ensure accuracy, efficiency and support throughout all phases of the case.
What You Will Do
- Outreach to and communication with attorneys and physicians.
- Managing the expert-time-approval process and resultant billing
- Project management for case review, depositions, and court testimony
- Maintaining accurate electronic records on each case
- Telephone support for experts and attorneys Work closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to streamline payment workflows and resolve billing issues. Problem-solving and conflict resolution, as necessary
- Responsible for interacting with and responding to attorneys nationwide who are in search of expert witnesses
- Conduct calls with prospective clients, obtaining relevant case information, coordinating with in-house physicians and closing the sale with the attorney.
- Process medical chronologies to ensure client requests are fulfilled and completed chronologies are delivered timely
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- BA/BS Management, Business, or Customer Service related curriculum preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven sales experience in territory sales or legal support services, with a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to build and grow revenue while adding value for customers.
- Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skill with direct reports, peers, superiors (cross functional and throughout the organization), customers, vendors, and other partners.
- Strong computer skills; ability to navigate through the Internet, MS Office, and email.
- Ability to analyze, initiate and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals.
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
