At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth and close opportunities within accounting, bookkeeping, and financial services industries.
This is not a traditional appointment-setting SDR role.
You’ll own a larger portion of the sales cycle, including:
- prospecting
- outbound outreach
- discovery calls
- lead qualification
- demos
- proposal discussions
- closing smaller deals
You’ll work closely with service delivery and onboarding teams to ensure smooth client transitions after the sale.

🔥 What You’ll Own
Prospecting & Lead Research
- Identify and research target businesses across industries such as:
- churches
- e-commerce
- construction
- home services
- trucking
- real estate
- Build targeted lead lists using:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Apollo
- online directories
- prospecting tools
- Research client pain points and tailor outreach messaging accordingly
- Identify decision-makers and high-potential opportunities
Multi-Channel Outreach & Pipeline Generation
- Execute outbound campaigns via:
- cold email
- cold calling
- LinkedIn outreach
- social channels
- Engage prospects in meaningful sales conversations
- Move leads toward discovery calls and conversion
- Support inbound generation through:
- Facebook campaigns
- Instagram campaigns
- lightweight paid social support
- Maintain consistent follow-up cadence to maximize conversion opportunities
Discovery Calls, Qualification & Closing
- Conduct discovery calls using frameworks such as:
- BANT
- MEDDIC
- Identify:
- operational pain points
- accounting challenges
- financial workflow inefficiencies
- Present tailored accounting and financial service solutions
- Run walkthroughs and demos using platforms such as:
- Digits
- CRM tools
- financial workflow systems
- Handle objections confidently and close smaller deals independently
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain organized CRM records in:
- HubSpot
- Salesforce
- or similar platforms
- Track:
- outreach activity
- deal stages
- notes
- follow-up schedules
- Ensure no opportunities are lost due to poor follow-up
- Maintain strong pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy
Reporting & Sales Performance Tracking
- Monitor:
- outreach activity
- response rates
- lead conversion

- Provide weekly sales and pipeline reporting
- Identify areas for optimization across outreach and sales processes
