Senior Program Manager – Electrical & Power Systems

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex programs involving engineered electrical and power distribution systems. This role is responsible for driving projects from post-award transition through production, testing, shipment, and final customer acceptance.
Based in a manufacturing environment, this position works closely with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure successful project execution.
### Core Responsibilities
Program Execution
Manage assigned programs from contract handoff through final delivery and acceptance
Oversee scope, schedules, and coordination across multiple teams
Lead internal kickoff meetings and establish project alignment
Develop and maintain timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Contract & Scope Management
Review contracts, purchase orders, and technical requirements for accuracy and completeness
Support scope clarification and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure alignment between contractual requirements, engineering outputs, and production deliverables
Assist with billing milestones, documentation, and acceptance criteria
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the primary point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and commercial teams
Maintain visibility across all project phases
Ensure configuration changes are properly tracked and communicated
Escalate issues when necessary while maintaining forward progress
Stakeholder Communication
Lead regular project updates with customers and external partners
Communicate schedules, production status, testing progress, and delivery timelines
Manage expectations and maintain strong client relationships
Represent projects in key reviews and discussions
### Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in program or project management within manufacturing, electrical systems, or infrastructure-related industries
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase, cross-functional projects
Strong understanding of manufacturing-driven project execution
Experience working with customers, contractors, or EPC organizations
Ability to interpret contracts, schedules, and technical documentation
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working onsite in a plant environment
### Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modular or integrated electrical systems
Exposure to data center, mission-critical, or infrastructure-related projects
Familiarity with ERP systems or project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar)
Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and large equipment logistics
