Senior Software Engineer, Operations Research

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python).
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building training/evaluation sets for a frontier LLM or building agentic harnesses.

In this role, your team is composed of Software Engineers and Research Scientists, whose expertise will be in various optimization and machine learning techniques. You will help us bring the technology to billions of users by making it available through Gemini.
