Senior Systems Engineer

Summary: 

The Senior Systems Engineer leads the design system architecture, implementation, and management of the integrated IT/ cyber-security integrated systems.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Ten years of experience in an IT related position or have ten years of experience in an IT- Operations or Management

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related subject matter area from an accredited college or university

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Current drivers’ license
• Proof of U.S. citizenship
• This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
• Application development experience with .NET, SQL, and/or Microsoft SharePoint

Special knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Ability to oversee and organization’s IT Systems, manage and lead staff including daily operational needs, project planning, technology updates, and management briefings
• Ability to plan, design, develop, evaluate, test, and integrate and organization’s systems IT infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Ability to define system and product requirements to ensure efficient planning and execution of the IT systems
• Ability to define system and product requirements to ensure efficient planning and execution of the IT Systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate hardware and software issues
• Knowledge of Microsoft, WMware, Storage, NIST, FISMA, and Cisco Technologies
