- Experience working with scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, following DevOps and platform engineering best practices
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation-first delivery, observability, and incident response practices
- Backend and platform engineering
- Scalable web applications and microservices
- Data pipeline development and optimization
- Python, SQL, dbt, Bash, and basic PowerShell scripting
- Snowflake, Postgres, Iceberg, and SQL-based databases
- AWS, including EKS, IAM, Lambda, S3, Secrets Manager, etc
- CI/CD tooling, especially GitHub Actions (and CircleCI as a bonus)
- Workflow orchestration with Dagster (and argo workflows as a bonus)
- Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- REST API development and integrations
- Authentication, authorization, backend security, CSP
- Logging, monitoring (ideally Dynatrace), and production support
- Troubleshooting across staging and production environments
- Technical and user-oriented documentation
- Agile delivery, sprint planning, and Jira-based tracking
- Code reviews and engineering best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Power BI experience is a plus
- JavaScript/TypeScript experience is a plu
- Java+Maven development experience is a plus
