About the Team
The TikTok U.S. Data Security (USDS) team is responsible for the security, integrity, and compliance of TikTok’s data within the United States. The Data Platform Team builds a scalable, reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure that ensures data integrity and empowers every business unit to win through self-service tools and scientific insights.
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to help drive company-wide efficiency and "self-service empowerment" through AI-driven innovation. Our mission is to transform how the organization interacts with data by building a "technical multiplier"—a suite of internal products that automate manual bottlenecks and accelerate business velocity.
Responsibilities
- Design & Develop AI-Driven Tools: Architect and implement 0-1 internal products, including automated SQL generation, conversational RAG systems, and intelligent on-call diagnosis bots.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze Meego workflows to identify manual friction points and build targeted self-service tooling that empowers non-technical stakeholders to manage data tasks independently.
- Release Governance: Integrate Meego into the feature releasing pipeline to ensure data-informed decision-making and minimize operational risks during global deployments.
- Enterprise Support: Provide high-precision data and tooling support for critical internal functions, including Legal, Finance, HR, and Government Relations.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner with Global Partners and T&P teams to platformize successful AI pilots, such as automated AB experiment reporting and resource allocation systems.
