Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:
In the role of DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. The role requires setting up continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines to streamline development workflows. The engineer actively works on integrating cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms to enhance system scalability and reliability. Ensuring the security of these systems against potential threats is a key part of daily activities. Collaboration with various teams to maintain and improve the development environment is also a regular responsibility, fostering a seamless and efficient software delivery process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and deployment to improve software delivery efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.
- Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
