Constantinople delivers a new era of AI-native banking. Constantinople provides banks with a fully-managed software and AI operational platform, which brings together customer experience, product, data, operations, compliance and infrastructure in a single platform.
Constantinople’s AI-native platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with AI at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables our client banks to focus on their customers and the business of banking.

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer in the Platform team, you will own the engineering systems, tooling, and automation that power the release process, and you will support our Release Manager in the APAC timezone.

You will automate and coordinate our fortnightly platform releases in close partnership with the Release Manager. A core part of the role is continuously improving the release process by removing manual steps, closing process gaps, reducing risk, and increasing reliability and repeatability as we scale. Our release scope spans backend, web, and mobile deployments across multiple tenants. Initially, the role will require more hands-on involvement during live releases, with the goal of progressively reducing that operational burden through better automation and improved release tooling.

Beyond release operations, you will work closely with the SRE Squad and other engineering teams on broader DevOps and platform initiatives, helping ensure safe and predictable releases across multiple environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and improve the tooling, automation, and guardrails for safe and reliable CI/CD pipelines supporting backend (Node.js, EKS), web (Next.js), and mobile (React Native / Expo)
  • Automate manual release steps, validation checks, and release controls
  • Partner with the Release Manager and engineering teams on release readiness, sign-offs, and coordination
  • Ensure rollback processes are clearly defined, tested, and operationally ready
  • Respond to release issues in real time to remove blockers and keep releases moving
  • Work with the SRE Squad and other teams on broader DevOps and platform improvements
  • Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, release engineering, or platform engineering roles
  • Experience managing releases in complex multi-environment systems
  • Hands-on experience with mobile app release processes (Google Play and Apple App Store)
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows
  • Experience improving release processes and building custom automation
  • Comfortable writing code in TypeScript, Bash, or similar languages
  • Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline design
  • Comfortable working in regulated or high-reliability environments, with hands-on experience supporting production systems
  • Able to operate independently in the APAC timezone
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the company
  • Advantageous: familiarity with AI-powered CI/CD and AIOps
