Position Details:
Job Title and Reporting: Jr. Graphic Designer, reporting to the Director of Creative Operations
Annual Base Salary: $40,000--$50,000/Bonus Eligible
FLSA Status: Salaried/Exempt/Full-time
Location(s): Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid)
Position Overview. As a Jr. Graphic Designer, you will support the Creative Team in producing high-quality visual assets that communicate the Black Rock Coffee Bar brand across digital, print, packaging, and in-store environments. This role focuses on executing established creative concepts, building foundational design skills, and maintaining brand consistency while working under the guidance of senior designers and creative leadership. You will contribute to campaigns, product launches, and day-to-day creative needs across the organization.
Services and Duties. As Jr. Graphic Designer, you will support the execution of creative assets and production needs across multiple marketing channels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design visual assets for digital marketing, social media, print collateral, packaging, and in-store materials.
- Adapt campaign creative into multiple formats and sizes, including advertisements, signage, menus, and web assets.
- Prepare production-ready files for both print and digital distribution, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives with timely and on-brand creative assets.
- Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables, ensuring alignment with brand standards and guidelines.
- Design digital advertising assets for platforms such as Google Ads, display networks, and social media channels.
- Resize and optimize creative for various placements, ensuring compliance with platform specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure creative assets support campaign objectives.
- Assist in the design and production of packaging, labels, and branded materials.
- Apply brand standards across physical products and ensure designs translate effectively across print formats.
- Utilize knowledge of color systems, including Pantone, CMYK, and RGB, to support accurate production.
- Partner with Creative team members to execute projects, receive feedback, and implement revisions efficiently.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to support creative direction.
- Communicate project status and timelines clearly with internal teams.
- Manage assigned tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control.
- Follow established creative processes, workflows, and approval structures.
- Support additional production tasks and design-related needs as required.

- Movement between workspaces and meeting areas to support collaboration.
- Occasional lifting or carrying materials up to 15 pounds such as print samples or supplies.
- Occasional travel may be required to support brand initiatives, store openings, or content production.
