As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Job Description & Summary: A career within Digital Strategy & Platform Transformation, will provide you with the opportunity to bring our clients a competitive advantage through defining their technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising architectural solutions that help them achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements. We help build software and design data platforms, manage large volumes of client data, develop compliance procedures for data management, and continually researching new technologies to drive innovation and sustainable change. 

 Responsibilities: 

Develop, maintain and improve Java applications using Java, Spring Boot microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability. 

Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective fixes. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

 Technical Skill 

· Hands-on experience in developing solutions using Java, Spring Boot microservices. 

· Understanding of design patterns, architecture components, best practices 

· Hands-on experience and conceptual understanding of authentication, authorization, exception handling, caching, gateway, config, logging, synchronous & asynchronous communication, batch, integration, thread, encryption, inter-service communication, unit testing. 

· Extensive knowledge in designing, implementing & supporting REST/SOAP services. 

· Experience in supporting security and performance issue resolution. 

· Understanding of DevOps, Source Code management tool. 

· Experience in design documentation. 

· Exposure to database components – tables, views, functions, store procedures. 

Functional Skill 

· Understanding of business requirements 

· Effort estimation of technical modules 

· Convert functional requirements into technical solution. 

Other Skill 

· Good verbal & written communication skill. 

· Experience in scrum sprints. 

· Exposure in client communication. 

 

Preferred skill sets: 

 JAVA / Devops related Certifications preferred. 

Years of experience required: 

 4 to 7 years of relevant and strong experience in JAVA. 

Education qualification: 

B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
