Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead the full spectrum of financial operations for our Hong Kong and Mainland China entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, business acumen, and a track record of driving process improvements in a dynamic, project-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions for Hong Kong and Mainland China operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare timely financial reports, analysis, and insights to support management decision-making.
  • Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury activities across the region.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure transparency of financial records.
  • Lead or contribute to ERP system enhancements, finance workflow re-engineering, and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Cost & Performance Management

  • Manage project costing, multi-functional cost allocation, cross-charge mechanisms, and inter-company charging models.
  • Oversee the calculation of incentive schemes and ensure accurate cost attribution across functions.

Strategic Support

  • Support the development of strategic business plans and financial modelling to guide long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals and operational performance.


Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in engineering, construction, or other project-based industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and Mainland China accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory frameworks.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including finance module enhancement and workflow/approval automation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of strategic business planning and financial forecasting.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written); Mandarin is an advantage.
