Schedule: Full Time – 80 hours/pay period – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As a Chaplain, you will: 

  • Provide Spiritual Care – Offer one-on-one pastoral support, grief counseling, and companionship to residents, families, and staff while respecting diverse faith backgrounds.
  • Support End-of-Life Care – Participate in the Passages and Dignity Quilt Programs, meet with families, and lead memorial services to honor residents.
  • Foster Community Connection – Facilitate chaplaincy programs, respond to crisis needs, and work collaboratively with staff and community partners to enhance spiritual well-being. 
  • Lead Worship and Educational Services – Organize and officiate chapel services, coordinate music and guest speakers, and develop meaningful spiritual enrichment gatherings.
  • Collaborate with Care Teams – Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, volunteers, and external faith groups to ensure holistic support for residents.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This job also requires: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters of Divinity or equivalent preferred.
  • Three years parish or pastoral care experience in healthcare setting. 
  • Ecclesiastical endorsement for specialized ministry and four or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred. 
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families. 
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. 
  • Ability to pass state mandated background check.
