Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry-level up to 3 years exp. Geotechnical Engineer for the Houston office.  The successful candidate will be trained in the execution of geotechnical projects within the Greater Houston Area with clients including the commercial/retail and land development markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute geotechnical engineering project assignments.
• Field work assignments in support of geotechnical projects.
• Work with and support engineering staff
• Geotechnical laboratory assignments and coordination.
• Engineering analyses for report preparation.
• Maintain client expectations for project quality and schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Active EIT Certification or ability to obtain in near future.
• Field and laboratory data collection, technical proposals, engineering analyses, and report writing. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
