Indiana Tech is accepting applications for multiple Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the Criminal Justice related courses including legal studies, homeland security, and emergency response, and other criminal justice courses as needed. The present opportunity is primarily in person during the traditional day program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Course goals and objectives are set by the dean. Additionally:
Engage with students in a manner that optimizes student success in multiple modalities.
Deliver engaging and effective courses to meet the program learning outcomes.
Ability to work with a diverse student population.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field, required
JD required for legal studies related courses, but not required for other CJ courses
College level teaching experience preferred
Demonstrated evidence of engaging and motivating students.
Previous work experience in course topic area.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a classroom environment.
