An opportunity has presented itself for a Trainee Locomotive Driver to join our team in Parkes, NSW.
What You’ll Do
Complete a structured traineeship program to become a Qualified Locomotive Driver.
Reporting to the Superintendent Train Crew, you will:
- Complete an accelerated traineeship program combining classroom and on-the-job training
- Learn to operate locomotives safely and efficiently in line with safe working procedures
- Progress through a structured three-stage development program
- Work towards obtaining a TLI42622 Certificate IV in Train Driving upon successful completion
What You’ll Bring
- A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to Safely Every Day
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends
- Flexibility to work away from home when required
- Basic computer skills and strong communication skills
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- School Certificate or equivalent
- No prior rail experience required – full training provided
