Summary
As a Solution Architect supporting a secure system build project, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions that align with business objectives, architectural standards, and security requirements. You will ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant, while integrating seamlessly across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This role is critical in translating strategic requirements into practical, secure, and sustainable technical architectures within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across infrastructure, cloud, network, and application domains.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, security architects, and technical teams to define solution requirements and constraints.
- Develop architecture artefacts including high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), integration models, and data flows.
- Provide architectural governance and oversight throughout build, integration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Evaluate technology options and provide recommendations based on cost, risk, performance, and strategic alignment.
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges.
- Support assurance and compliance activities, ensuring traceability from requirements to implemented solution.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and future-state architecture planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in solution architecture or senior technical design roles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integration patterns, cloud platforms, and infrastructure design.
- Experience delivering complex system builds or large-scale transformation programs.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and enterprise governance processes.
- Ability to balance business requirements with technical feasibility, risk, and cost considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications, or equivalent) are desirable.
