This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
• Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
• Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
• Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
• Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
• Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
• Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement ETL (Informatica) process using SQL, ETL tool and Linux shell scripting to deliver high quality solutions.
• Collaborate with other development teams to manage interdependency, set up test cases, debug and maintain data quality.
• Ensure software stability via documentation, code reviews, regression, unit and user acceptance testing.
• Hands on logical and physical data modeling and database design responsibilities. 
• Good understanding of Dimensional modeling
• Be able to lead and develop Informatica PowerCenter ETL complex flows connecting to heterogenous database such as oracle/MS SQL server.
• Develop complex oracle procedures ,functions, and packages to support database applications(API calls / DW reporting )
• Conduct both proactive and reactive performance tuning activities during course of development of new applications and existing legacy applications. 
• Hands on experience to develop and support Unix Shell Scripting.
• Should have an understanding of scheduler (Autosys)
• Perform data analysis and data profiling. Identify data quality issues

Required Qualifications :

• Experience with large data sets using big data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
• 10+ years non-relational and relational DB's ETL looks like Informatica or others 
• 10+ years of professional experience with Hadoop, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Experience automating ETL with job scheduling tools. Autosys Preferred
• Experience working with large data sets using big data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark etc. is a plus
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills; excellent organizational, communication skills

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$106,500.00 - $173,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
