About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical project manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of delivering projects in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure the team is aligned with Agile best practices to deliver high-quality products and services.
Role and Responsibilities
· Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile teams.
· Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
· Guide the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
· Identify and remove obstacles to team progress.
· Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog.
· Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
· Track team progress and report metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
· Ensure alignment between business goals and technical deliverables.
· Support the team in continuous improvement efforts.
· Promote Agile adoption across the organization.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
· Must have working experience in the P&C Insurance domain (e.g., underwriting, claims, policy administration systems).
· Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
· Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
· Ability to work with cross-functional, distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification.
· Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile scaling models.
· Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects in the insurance industry.
