Intro:
Worley is conducting a strategic review of the market to identify key talent for potential future work (expression of interest) based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Perform asset assessment as phase 1 & 2 to determine the SOW for the detailed design execution phase.
We are seeking to offer the client a talent pool of skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer (Reliability Integrity Engineer) professionals who have experience in the Oil & Gas facilities
Purpose of the role:
Position scope will be to conduct a comprehensive baseline study to identify production constraints, or losses, due to facilities availability, operability, or capacity limitations; this study is to be carried out in both the Offshore and Onshore producing areas of operations. Carry out development and detailed design engineering activities, including coordination with the various discipline groups
Core responsibilities:
Perform engineering design duties associated with the development of the next phase of MFP’s, being designed by Worley.
Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas division
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures
Co-ordination and preparation of input to Essential Process Documents, as defined by the client/ contract. Where responsibility for update of the Master Documents is handed to the Lead Process Engineer, procedures shall be put in place to maintain document integrityQuality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc
Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures
Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Skills and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
· 15 - 20 years Oil & Gas experience with at least 8 years offshore oil & gas facility engineering experience
· Strong analytical skills and experience with process data analysis.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills
· Key technical Skills: Rotation Equipment calculations, specifications, data sheets and technical specifications, Equipment handling report, analyse reliability of mechanical systems
