We are recruiting for 1 x Project Manager (Permanent) and 1 x Project Manager (6-month Fixed Term to cover parental leave).
As Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex digital and business change initiatives within a strategic context. Working across a dynamic environment, you will bring together multidisciplinary teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for robust business cases, integrated planning, risk and financial management, and effective change implementation. A key part of the role is ensuring strong alignment between business and technical teams, embedding solutions that are sustainable, user-friendly, and aligned to enterprise architecture and portfolio standards.
You will provide leadership and coaching in project methodology, contribute to continuous improvement in project practice, and build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
What you bring | Nōu te rourou
- Proven experience (3+ years) delivering complex digital or business transformation projects, ideally within the public sector
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and build buy-in at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage risk, and balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Sound financial, planning and governance capability, including business case development and budget oversight
- Systems thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration
- Relevant tertiary qualification and PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
