About the role:
This role is responsible for leading the site’s integrated planning process, balancing demand, supply and inventory to deliver optimal service, cost and operational outcomes. The Site S&OP Manager leads the monthly S&OP cycle and ensures production, procurement, logistics and commercial functions are fully aligned to business needs.
Based at Pokeno and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will identify capacity constraints, supply risks and inventory challenges early, providing actionable insights and forward-looking strategies to maintain a robust 12-month rolling production forecast. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, transforming raw commercial and operational data into clear business insights that support decision-making and operational excellence.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Leading and continuously improving the end-to-end site S&OP process, including monthly demand, supply and consensus meetings
- Managing key supply chain performance measures such as Production Adherence, PO Adherence, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Months Cover and Product Freshness
- Identifying capacity constraints, supply risks and inventory challenges early, developing mitigation and hedging strategies with suppliers and 3PL providers
- Building and maintaining dashboards, data models and reporting frameworks to translate complex S&OP and commercial data into actionable business insights
About you:
- Significant experience in S&OP, supply planning, commercial analytics or financial planning roles within FMCG, pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
- Advanced data analysis capability, including working with large and sometimes incomplete datasets
- Strong forecasting, budgeting and inventory strategy experience
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and present complex analysis to senior leadership
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or Finance (APICS SCM or CPA accreditation preferred)
- Experience in continuous improvement, IBP best practice implementation and planning system enhancements will be highly regarded.
