Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

The purpose of the E3D CAD Designer role is to produce accurate and detailed 3D designs for civil, infrastructure, mechanical, or electrical works using E3D CAD software.

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D CAD Designer specializing in nuclear engineering to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for nuclear power plant components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models of nuclear power plant systems, components, and structures using advanced software tools
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly processes
• Collaborate with nuclear engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate 3D models
• Perform design modifications and updates based on engineering change requests and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all designs comply with nuclear industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve overall plant design and efficiency
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nuclear engineering principles and CAD software advancements
• Support the development of documentation for licensing and regulatory submissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in 3D CAD design, preferably in the nuclear industry
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Strong knowledge of nuclear engineering principles and regulations
• Excellent technical drawing and visualization skills
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex technical specifications and requirements
• Familiarity with nuclear plant systems, components, and safety considerations
• Understanding of nuclear power plant design, operations, and regulatory compliance
• Relevant certifications in CAD software or nuclear industry standards (e.g., ASME certifications) are preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in nuclear engineering and CAD design
