We have an exciting opening for an experienced Service Quality Engineer to support reliability and service quality performance across our drilling technology product lines. The role focuses on downhole tools, wired tools, and electronic measurement tools used in drilling operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure service quality standards are met across operations.
- Monitor and improve the reliability of downhole, wired, and e‑tool systems.
- Lead failure investigations and drive corrective action implementation and validation.
- Support field teams with job planning, tool readiness, and post‑job analysis.
- Track service quality KPIs and prepare performance reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance tool performance.
- Maintain documentation related to failures, maintenance, and service quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement programs and internal audits.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in oil & gas, preferably within drilling technology with knowledge of the drilling process.
- Preferred to have hands-on experience with downhole tools, wired tools, MWD, LWD or other electronic measurement tools.
- Strong understanding of reliability concepts and service quality processes.
- Experience in failure analysis, root cause investigations, or corrective action programs.
Preferred
- Experience working in the service, repair and maintenance workshop environment for drilling tools.
- Knowledge of rotary shouldered connections and the inspection requirements per DS-1 and NS-1 standards.
- Experience with service quality or maintenance systems (e.g., JDE, iTrax, Intelex, TAT, Jira).
- Training or experience with reliability tools (RCA, FMEA, statistical analysis).
