Senior Executive - Production
(Based at MAS Bodyline - Horana)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the effective co-ordination of the sewing function in order to produce garments of the required quality and performance levels to meet production targets and on time delivery by conducting periodic follow-ups and problem solving.
- Ensure effective coordination with planning and merchandising teams to make sure the optimum plant loading is done to maximize productivity by attending the weekly input meetings and monthly planning meetings.
- Coordinate the factory integration and QCO processes to ensure minimal bucket loss to the production, by attending the periodic QCO meetings, PP meetings etc.

- Ensure compliance standards of the organization are met in line with the legal requirements and customer standards, to ensure a healthy, safe and secure working environment for all the employees.
- Execute continuous improvement of the operation in terms of minimizing work-in-process, improving throughput time and optimizing module configuration through lean principles and related tools to reduce costs and to eliminate cost of failure.
- Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group policies & procedures, best practices relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Engineering, Physical Science or any discipline from a recognized university.
- 4-5 years’ production experience in apparel sector.
- Negotiation & presentations skills.
