Job Description

Due to increased customer demand for our services, we are seeking to expand our team with an Employment Placement Consultant in North Ryde, working 15-20 hours per week on a casual basis. You will support our clients to locate and place in employment, with a focus on securing job trials and interviews for job seekers. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and implementing tailored and proactive job seeking action plans to support clients to achieve timely and sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Assisting clients with the job seeking process including activities that promote access to the hidden labour market.
  • Reverse marketing to employers to broker job interviews, placements, and host placements.
  • Promoting utilisation and securing SIRA approved vocational support programs with employers (Recover at Work Assist, JobCover Placement Program, JobCover6 Placement Program, Transition to Work)
  • Provide regular updates to Case Managers regarding job seeker activity and progress via a one paragraph summary monthly for inclusion in the progress report
  • Maintain accurate and succinct records of client-based activity via job seeker activity documents, job logs and iinsight case notes.

Qualifications

You will bring:

  • Background in employment placement, recruitment, or similar 
  • Previous experience in and a passion for reverse marketing 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positivity, empathy and persistence
