Job purpose:

Social QA is a part of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and helps protect Amway’s reputation by identifying and managing risks linked to ABO behavior on social media.

The Social Selling Compliance Specialist is responsible for monitoring online activity across ESAN region to ensure compliance with Digital Communication Standards (DCS) & Quality Assurance (QA) and protect brand integrity.

This role involves:

  • Identifying policy violations and managing compliancerelated cases
  • Supporting corrective actions and documenting compliance outcomes
  • Providing guidance to the ABO community through preventive education and communication

In addition, the role requires close crossfunctional collaboration to enable faster risk detection, consistent responses, and a unified strategy for protecting both ABO success and Amway’s longterm reputation. This includes working closely with:

  • Social QA team to collaborate on Talkwalker-related updates, tool improvements, issue dissection, and ongoing experience exchange, ensuring consistent monitoring standards and enhanced detection accuracy across markets
  • BSR & BSM teams to align on market insights, compliance trends, and business priorities
  • Sales teams to ensure consistent and compliant messaging across ABO-facing activities
  • Marketing teams to maintain brand-aligned communication and support proactive content governance
  • External Communication teams to harmonize publicfacing messaging and mitigate reputational risk
     

Primary responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Detection

  • Continuously track and monitor social media mentions across 19 dashboards in 20+ languages.
  • Maintain situational awareness of online conversations relevant to the brand, business practices, and compliance risk areas.

2. Analysis and Handling

  • Review, analyze, and triage mentions in alignment with Digital Communication Standards (DCS) & Quality Assurance Standards (QAS).
  • Assign mentions for further review where needed and ensure proper followup is completed.

3. Keyword Management

  • Review, refine, and translate keyword lists for all dashboards to reflect evolving online language trends, slang, and compliancerelated terminology.
  • Ensure keyword accuracy and relevance to enhance proactive detection capabilities.

4. Violation Identification

  • Identify, classify, and document compliance violations, including:
  • Improper profile names or intellectual property (IP) misuse
  • Background images or visual content that infringe on Amway or 3rdparty IP
  • Misleading product or business claims
  • Statements or practices that conflict with local market legislation, including marketing, advertising, and MLMspecific regulations
  • Detect and flag improper ABO (Amway Business Owner) behaviors for further analysis.

5. Sanction & Case Management

  • Determine appropriate sanctions based on violation type and severity.
  • Create and document cases in collaboration with BCR for investigation, followup, and corrective action planning.
  • Track case progress and escalate issues when required.

6. Reporting

  • Prepare regular and adhoc reports to support datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks from monitoring data.

7. Support & Preventive Education

  • Provide both the internal team and the ABO community with timely guidance, including social media bestpractice tips aligned with DCS/QAS.
  • Participate in educational initiatives and preventionoriented communication activities in collaboration with BCR and AM.
  • Support awareness efforts aimed at reducing compliance risks among ABOs and internal staff, ensuring consistent understanding of compliance expectations across all stakeholder groups.

 

Required Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience:

  •  Educational level: Appropriate Bachelor’s degree
  • Preliminary Experience in social listening, brand protection, online compliance, or digital monitoring (highly desired, but not a must)
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Multilingual awareness or experience working across multiple language environments
  • Familiarity with online behavior analysis and compliance frameworks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
