Role: Copywriter 

Location: Vancouver, Canada

 

About the role: 

OLIVER is hiring a Copywriter to join our team partnering with one of Canada’s leading apparel brands. If you love to write engaging copy, have experience with lifestyle/retail industries, and loved that we just used an Oxford comma—then this is the role for you!     

 

What you will be doing: 

• Engaging headlines, subs, and content copy across all channels  
• Ensure that the work that is delivered meets the goals of the brief 
• Create and repurpose content for different usages working within brand guidelines 
• Work closely with the account managers and designers to take a brief from beginning to end 
• Ensure consistency and quality across all written content 
• Present and articulate concepts to clients while skillfully managing client feedback 

What you need to be great in this role: 

• 5+ years writing in an advertising agency, with experience working on apparel/retail industries 
• Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and well-developed project management skills 
• Ability to manage a high volume of assets across various channels 
• Experience presenting ideas to clients, the ability to clearly articulate your ideas 
• An enjoyment of working in a team-oriented and collaborative style with the ability to problem-solve  
• At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $76,500.00 to $85,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
